In the land of fire, we combine products from the countryside with those from the sea, and cooked them in a wood-fired oven, in a Josper or naturally in ovens dug out over the hot springs.
Decorated in harmony with the natural surroundings outside, this is a large space with plenty of light, streaming in and a relaxed atmosphere.
From the meats that come to us from local producers, to the fish from the auction and the freshest greens, we are passionate about the flavours of the Azores.
Tasting our stew is a journey through the history of Portuguese stew flavours, from north to south; and out to the islands.

So much to explore. Irrigation terraces and trails, by bicycle or on foot. Paddle your way across the lagoons or go canyoning downriver to discover waterfalls and more hot springs. On an island of volcanoes, a sea of people take care of the local fauna and flora and will show you how and where to watch whales and dolphins in a more sustainable and careful manner, as is our nature.
